20+ materials aimed at patients, paramedics, and primarily nurses
The Nurse Connect project includes over 20 materials aimed at patients, paramedics, and primarily nurses. These resources include patient information leaflets, disease-specific guides for paramedics, and comprehensive training for nurses. Examples are palliative care e-learning, guidance on establishing nursing practices in hospitals, and more.
The assets are highly appreciated and localised for >10 countries.
It consists of two modules: the first dispels common misconceptions about palliative care and provides guidance on starting difficult conversations to assess patient needs, while the second focuses on strategies for implementing palliative care in clinical settings.

Nurse materials vary in complexity, part of the materials are for starting ILD-nurses, and some of the more advanced materials are aimed at experienced ILD-Nurses. All assets have a strong focus on applicability in the clinical setting.
Resources are shared on a platform, organized by each stage of the disease journey, to facilitate their use in clinical practice and provide effective guidance.
Patient materials include information about nutrition, support for care givers, disease awareness and tips on how to cope.
